The Jyoti Vidyalay English Medium Higher Secondary School is an unaided co educational institution owned and administered by Franciscan sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (FIH), was established in the year 1969 at Charoda - Bhilai, Distt. Durg.

It is a religious charitable and educational society registered under Societies Registration Act 1959. It is affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur. At the higher secondary level Science and Commerce streams are available.

To cope up with modern advancement in Information Technology, the school imparts computer education right from Class 1 to Class 12. Special stress is given to physical education, spiritual and moral up-liftment of the pupil.

 The school endeavours at providing all help to bring out best and noblest qualities in the students. Moreover, with proper education they are transformed into good citizens with academic excellence and wisdom, thereby serving the society and the nation.
